For more than 4600 years, Taoist masters have known that the Earth is round and revolves around the Sun. They therefore know that it follows cycles, of various amplitudes. They also know that the Sun itself follows cycles.

They know this because they have observed it for millennia and have observed, for millennia, the accuracy of their system of measuring time. They observe this in the light of the reality of human life, including on the scale of civilizations which are born and disappear.

When you demonstrate intelligence, open-mindedness, accepting the postulates of Taoist temporal principles, confronting them with major events in the history of mankind, you can see with your own eyes that these temporal principles are reliable and just.

The Period of Fire is the last of the Nine Periods of the Great Cycle of Sān Yuán. In this, it constitutes a crucial stage before the transition to a new Great Cycle of one hundred and eighty years.

If a Period change implies a significant change in the conditions of life on the planet, for individuals and organizations, a Great Cycle change implies a much greater upheaval.

Period 9 of the current cycle, beginning February 4, 2024, may mean the end of one civilization, of modern Western civilization, and the beginning of a new era for humanity, very different from what it has known. so far.
